From the minute I knew I was pregnant, I was worried about if I was going to be able to breastfeed or not. I’m very sensitive, and have had issues in the past with cysts in my breasts.. so I really didn’t know how I was going to be able to do it! Kelly immediately made me so comfortable, and once it was time to start breastfeeding she gave me so much confidence. It was super tough from the start, and I ended up only having one boob that worked due to nerve damage. She figured that out quickly and we made a plan on how to deal with it. Turns out my son also had a tongue tie, which she helped us navigate as well. Kelly was quick to communicate, and was always direct with me, which I really appreciated. Every time an issue would arise, she would either give me a solution or the right encouragement to keep trying.  I feel like she always had the perfect thing to say, but said it in a way that felt like I had a friend rather than a doctor or coach, which was super comforting with such intimate subject. I’ll suggest Kelly to every single pregnant person from here on out, that’s for sure! Thank you Kelly!
